CLAYTON, N.C. (WNCN) — A fatal shooting at a Clayton apartment complex is under investigation, the Clayton Police Department told CBS 17 Monday night.

The homicide took place at the Pines at Glen Laurel Apartments on Pine Hall Drive in Clayton, according to police.

The identity of the victim has not been shared as of 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police also said no arrest has been made in connection with the fatal shooting.
