Louisburg man arrested on child sex crime charges

LOUISBURG, N.C. (WNCN) – A Louisburg man faces child sex crime charges after he was arrested during a traffic stop last week, the sheriff’ office said. 

Arrest warrants were issued on November 16 charging Terry Jermaine Johnson with felony statutory sexual offense with a child under the age of 15 and felony indecent liberties with a child, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said. 

On April 18, Johnson was taken into custody during a traffic stop. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division help with Johnson’s apprehension. 

He is being held under a $350,000 secured bond.
