Roxboro police announced Friday the arrest of a 29-year-old man suspected of murder.
Terrell Devon Wiley was wanted in connection of the July 27 shooting death of 23-year-old Daquan Harris. He was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals in Orange County around 7 p.m.
“We extend our deepest gratitude to the U.S. Marshal Service for their hard work to bring Wiley to justice,” Roxboro Police Chief David Hess said in a news release. “I also praise the efforts of Detective Sergeant Williams and all our department for their relentless pursuit to see this arrest happen.”
Roxboro police had offered a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest.
Wiley is being held in the Person County Jail under no bond.
