LUMBERTON, N.C. (WNCN) — Authorities in Robeson County say a 5-year-old boy has been found after being abducted Friday evening.

Lintravious Jackson, of Lumberton, was reported missing when the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office issued a news release at 6:30 p.m. The incident was reported to deputies by Malicia Campbell around 4:45 p.m., who said her grandson had been kidnapped.

Deputies said Lintravious Jackson was in the custody of Heather Ann Lewis, 26, of Charlotte.

“Jackson had been removed from the mother’s (legal) custody,” the news release said.

A 16-year-old girl of Lumberton was also believed to be with the pair, deputies said in a news release.

“A juvenile is believed to have picked up Jackson in Fairmont, North Carolina under false pretenses and met Lewis,” the news release said.
