ELM CITY, N.C. (WNCN) - Wilson County authorities are investigating after a person was shot early Saturday.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. at N.C. Highway 58 and William Chapel Road, the Wilson County Sheriff's Office said.
The injured person was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The condition of the person is not known.
Deputies said there were currently no suspects.
