RAEFORD, N.C. (WNCN) — A Raeford man is behind bars on a child sex crime charge involving an 11-year-old child, according to Raeford police.

Sebastian Carillo, 26, is charged with at least one count of indecent liberties with a minor.

According to police, they received a report on Tuesday of an 11-year-old being inappropriately touched by an adult male. During the investigation, detectives determined that Carillo had “inappropriately touched and engaged in sexual behavior with the minor child on more than one occasion.”

According to police, the incidents took place between January 2018 and December 2018.

After being interviewed by police, Carillo was arrested and charged. He is being held in the Hoke County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.

Although police said Carillo committed multiple sex crimes involving the child, only one charge has been announced, according to information from the department.

Carillo is also being held on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer as an illegal re-entry to the United States.
