RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – One person is dead following a shooting in northeast Raleigh around midday Friday, police said.

The shooting occurred around 11:42 a.m. at 1532 Justice Union Court – which is in a neighborhood off Old Milburnie Road, officials said. The complex is called 504 W. By Centex.

This is the fourth homicide in Raleigh this week.

Raleigh police say the victim is a man and was found near the garage of a new construction home.

Police said there was no ongoing threat.

No other information was released.
