1 dead in single-car rollover wreck in Raleigh neighborhood

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A person died in a single-car rollover crash in a residential neighborhood in Raleigh on Saturday night, police said.

The wreck was reported around 10:20 p.m. at 1500 Courtland Drive, which is just south of Capital Boulevard at that road’s intersection with Wake Forest Road.

In photos from the scene, a car could be seen upside down.

Raleigh police at the scene of the crash said the driver, who was alone during the wreck, died at the scene.

The area is in the Mordecai neighborhood. No one else was injured in the wreck, according to authorities.

No other information was available.
