KNIGHTDALE, N.C. (WNCN) - Two Knightdale Target employees are charged with embezzling items from the store over several days this month.
Items taken by the two suspects include video games, Xbox controllers, an Apple watch and mustard, according to arrest warrants.
Eric Stahling, 20, is listed with North Carolina State University as his current employer, according to arrest records. CBS 17 reached out to N.C. State who confirmed that he is a student at the school.
According to a search of the N.C. State campus directory, Stahling is in his junior year as a student at the university.
An arrest warrant says that between July 20 and July 27 Stahling is accused of taking two Xbox controllers and an Apple watch from Target.
Nicholas Aaron Mayrand-Roach, 20, is charged for offenses from July 25 to July 27 and is accused of taking mustard, video games, socks, a computer hard drive, Apple cable, a soundbar, a headset and watch accessories, according to an arrest warrant.
Stahling and Mayrand-Roach were arrested on Monday at the store at the Shoppes at Midway off Knightdale Boulevard.
Both men have a Wake County court date set for Tuesday.
