A barn in Wendell was destroyed by fire on Monday afternoon, officials said.

The incident was reported around 6:15 p.m. at 2505 Edgemont Road.

Two tractors and a dump truck that were inside the barn were destroyed when the structure burned, officials said.

The homeowner saw smoke at the barn and called 911 to initially report the fire.

Fire crews were able to put out the blaze in about 15 minutes, officials said.

Authorities are trying to determine the cause of the fire, but said it was not related to storms on Monday.

No one was hurt.

The same area of Wendell was hit by a tornado last month.
