A total of four people were injured when a SUV plowed into a Raleigh apartment Monday morning.
Two people in the vehicle and two in the building, located on Navaho Drive, were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Evelyne Lopez, who lives above the apartment that was hit, told CBS 17 she can not get into her home.
“I heard a sound of a truck and two girls crying out loud,” Lopez said. “Imagine like an earthquake, but a bit smaller. It felt like that.”
Firefighters have posted signs that the building is “unsafe.”
The SUV was towed away and crews are working to cover the hole in the building.
