1 child, 3 adults taken to hospital after Raleigh head-on crash

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) - Four people including a child were injured in a head-on crash in Raleigh late Sunday night, police said.

The incident was reported around 10:50 p.m. at Sunnybrook Road at Woodmeadow Parkway, which is in southeast Raleigh near Interstate 440.

The wreck involved two vehicles that collided head-on, according to Raleigh police.

Four people were taken to WakeMed for treatment of injuries they received in the crash. Three people suffered non-life threatening injuries and one person was seriously injured and suffered life-threatening injuries. Authorities did not specify who was seriously injured but did say it wasn't the child.
