CARY, N.C. (WNCN) — A Cary man is behind bars after being arrested on rape and kidnapping charges, according to an arrest warrant and jail records.
Jose Orlando Orellana-Funes, 50, is charged with one count of attempted second-degree forcible rape and first-degree kidnapping.
According to the warrant, Orellana-Funes, 50, kidnapped a 16-year-old on April 1 and attempted to rape the teen.
Orellana-Funes is currently jailed in the Wake County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Friday afternoon.
