Cary police ask for help identifying armed robbery suspect

CARY, N.C. (WNCN) – Cary police are asking for help identifying an armed robbery suspect, according to a news release from the Town of Cary.

The robbery happened on April 6 at 8:38 a.m. at the Valero gas station located at 1350 Old Apex Road. The suspect went behind the counter, brandished a weapon, and took money and cigarettes, the release said.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is believed to be between 30 and 35 years old with a stocky build and facial hair. He was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black Adidas sneakers with white stripes, and latex gloves, the release said.
