RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Heavy rains that dumped several inches of water in just a few hours Saturday led to heavy flooding.
That flooding went over roads and left some washed-out afterward.
Here is a list from the N.C. DOT and from local agencies about roads that are closed from flooding or damage from flooding as of Saturday night:
Mitchell Mill Road near Medlin Woods Road at Bridges Creek near Wake Forest
U.S. 401 (Louisburg Rd) is closed near N.C.98 in Franklin County
DETOUR: Southbound take NC-98 South to US-401 South. Northbound take NC-98 North to US-401 North.
N.C. 96 Both Directions in Wake County near Zebulon
N.C. 96 Both Directions, Near Martin Road in Wake County in Zebulon
N.C. 98 underwater west of U.S. 401
Mitchell Mill Road near (Quarry Rd) in Wake County East of Rolesville
Barham Siding Road near N.C. 96 in Wake County East of Rolesville
Halifax Road Both near N.C.96 (Zebulon Road in Wake County East of Rolesville
Fowler Road Both near N.C.96 (Zebulon Road) in Wake County East of Rolesville
Moores Pond Road between Bud Wall Road to Tarboro Road in Franklin County in Youngsville
Rogers Road at Hobblebush Way in Wake Forest
Ligon Mill Road near Greenville Loop Road
