Man sought following bank robbery in Garner

GARNER, N.C. (WNCN) — Garner police are searching for a man investigators say is behind a Thursday afternoon bank robbery. 

Police say the Four Oaks Bank, located on 1408 Garner Station Blvd., was robbed around 3:34 p.m.

Authorities are searching for a man in his 20s or 30s, wearing a blue baseball cap, gray sweatpants, and a red shirt.

He was last seen running north from the bank towards Tyron Road. 

The man also has a scar or sore on his forehead.

No weapon was produced during the robbery and no injuries were reported.

There is no word on the amount of money taken from the bank.
