UPDATE: All NCDMV driver license offices are now fully operational and are servicing customers.
RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN)– The North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles is experiencing a temporary statewide outage of the vehicle driver’s license database.
NCDMV said the outage is preventing driver’s license offices from processing any license data.
It is also affecting the ability to issue driver’s licenses to customers.
A spokesperson for the NCDMV said there is no indication of why the outage occurred.
The North Carolina Department of Information is working to restore services.
