Police: Motorcyclist killed in Raleigh crash did wheelie on Glenwood Ave.

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A 29-year-old was identified as the person killed in a motorcycle accident Thursday in Raleigh, police said.

Raleigh police released the crash report, identifying Blake Kristopher Tercero, whose listed address is Fort Bragg as the person who died in the crash.

The report said he was operating at a high rate of speed on Glenwood Avenue and sideswiped another car in the middle lane “after completing what was described by witnesses as a wheelie,” the report said.

Tercero then ran off the road to the right and hit a tree. He died at the scene, according to the report.

Officers were dispatched to the scene at the 6100-block of Glenwood Avenue shortly after 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
