RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) – A Raleigh man tried his luck at a scratch-off ticket and won a big prize.

North Carolina Education Lottery officials on Tuesday identified Eugene Hunt as the latest big winner of the 100X The Cash game.

Hunt purchased his ticket at the Butner Family Fare on Central Avenue. Officials said after taxes were withheld, he took home $71,256.
