A Raleigh teenager is facing more than 30 charges after breaking into nearly 30 vehicles and stealing items, according to Wake County arrest warrants.
Dante Nyrique Norman, 19, is facing 29 counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, one count of injury to personal property, one count of felony possession of stolen goods/property, one count of obtain property false pretense, and one count of larceny of a firearm.
According to warrants, Norman began breaking into vehicles starting in April and continued through mid-July. On May 14, he’s accused of breaking into a 2018 Ford F-150 and stealing a Palmetto pistol-length 300AAC Blackout rifle.
The warrants don’t specify where the vehicles that were broken into were located, but the complainant listed for all of the break-ins is the Cary Police Department.
Norman was arrested on Tuesday and is being held in the Wake County Detention Center on a $260,000 secured bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Friday.
