RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A Raleigh woman has been charged after police say she was involved in an assault where a man was stabbed in the face and chest on Monday.
Police responded to WakeMed in reference to a man that had been stabbed and it was there that they saw the man had been stabbed in the face and chest, suffering what police believe to be non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation revealed that the stabbing occurred in the 1500 block of Creekwood Court, police said.
Dejai Ariane Volter, 21, is charged with felony conspiracy assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill in connection with the incident, according to police.
According to her arrest warrant, the victim was stabbed seven times. Two unidentified men are also wanted in connection with the attack, the warrant shows.
She is being held in the Wake County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond. Her first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
