CARY, N.C. (WNCN) – Parts of U.S. 1 in Wake County shut down following a crash on Monday afternoon.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on the southbound lanes near Cary Parkway, building up standstill traffic spanning several miles.
As of 4:19 p.m., the left three lanes have reopened after the exit.
