WENDELL, N.C. (WNCN) — Two men were shot in Wake County on Sunday afternoon, deputies say.

The incident was reported around 3 p.m. in the 5600 block of Dealous Drive in Wendell, according to Eric Curry, spokesman for the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.

When deputies arrived, they found two men each with gunshot wounds on a leg and the upper torso, Curry said.

The pair were taken to WakeMed for treatment of what Curry said were non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies were later interviewing suspects in the incident.

Curry said the investigation was continuing.
