Wake County Public Schools holding Activity, Camps and Track-Out Fair this weekend

Wake County News

GARNER, N.C. (WNCN) — Wake County Public School System’s Lifelong Learning with Community Schools will be launching a fair on Saturday so kids and parents can learn more about what they can do when school is not in session.

The 2019 Activity, Camps and Track-Out Fair will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Garner Magnet High School.

“Connecting parents to quality activities outside of school can be stressful. This event, brought to you by the Summershine publication, is a unique opportunity to bring together parents, their children, and Triangle area children’s activity and camp providers to engage and ask questions about available enrichment activities,” according to a press release from WCPSS.

In addition to connecting with organizations, there will also be family activities for parents and their kids. Some of those activities include face painting, a photo booth, an inflatable obstacle course, and other vendor-specific activities. The Cow and The Oak food truck and the Not Just Icing food truck will also be at the event.

Parents can choose to RSVP by going to the fair website. Vendors interested in being a part of the fair can visit www.wcpss.net/trifair-vendor.
