Wake County News

CARY, N.C. (WNCN) — The Wake County Public School System is hoping to raise lunch prices again.

The proposal has another 20-cent increase for full-pay students in elementary, middle and high schools in the district.

That will bring the total price for lunch to $2.75 per meal for elementary school students and $3 for middle and high school students.

If the proposal passes it will be the fourth year in a row lunch prices have increased in Wake County schools.
