WENDELL, N.C. (WNCN) — Wake County authorities say that a high school student had LSD at school Friday morning.

The incident happened at East Wake High School in Wendell, according to a news release from the Wake County Sheriff’s Office.

A 17-year-old student was found with “a stamp that contained a form of the psychedelic drug, LSD,” the news release said.

The male student was charged with felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance.

Officials said that a tip from another student alerted them to the incident.
