Wake Forest pedestrian injured in hit-and-run crash involving car, officials say

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WNCN) — A pedestrian was injured in a hit and run collision involving a car in Wake Forest Thursday night, officials say.

The incident was reported just after 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Forestville Road and Song Sparrow Drive, according to a news release from Bill Crabtree, spokesman for the Town of Wake Forest.

“The vehicle is described as a white sedan with possible front-end damage,” Crabtree said in the news release.

There was no description available of the driver, he added.

The pedestrian suffered injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening, officials said.

“Wake Forest Police are requesting the public’s help locating the driver,” Crabtree also said in the news release.
