The warrant shows that the general manager of the store, located at 415 S. Main St. in Rolesville, told police that she was able to watch the security footage and see Khatib entering the restaurant through the drive-thru window.

According to the warrant, the general manager said that Khatib attempted to erase the footage but did not erase all of it - and that's how he was caught.

Khatib was arrested Aug. 5 and is charged with felony breaking and entering, felony attempt to alter/steal/destroy criminal evidence and felony larceny by employee.

He is being held in the Wake County Detention Center under a $35,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
