Two more people have been arrested in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old man in Goldsboro in September, bring the total number arrested to four, according to police.

The shooting happened in the 1500 block of Edgerton Street around 10 p.m. on Sept. 27.

When police arrived, they found a man and a girl who were both shot.

The girl was taken to Wayne UNC Health for treatment.

Terrance Ryan Drakeford was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

On Oct. 5, Tyriek Langston, 18, of Goldsboro, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Drakeford, the release said.

Keiraun Antonio Tann, 18, of Goldsboro, was taken into custody on Oct. 25 in the 1900 block of Maple Street in Goldsboro, according to police.

Both Langston and Tann are facing a murder charge and both were being held without bond at the Wayne County Detention Center.

Police announced Tuesday that Antwon Hamilton, 19, and Tynae Jeffers, 21, both of Goldsboro, have also been arrested in connection with Drakeford’s murder.

Hamilton was arrested Monday in the 1300 block of Edgerton Street in Goldsboro just before 11:30 p.m. He is charged with first-degree murder.

Jeffers was arrested Tuesday, also in the 1300 block of Edgerton Street, around 2:15 a.m. She is charged with harboring a fugitive.

Both suspects have their first court appearances scheduled for Tuesday.

Hamilton is being held in the Wayne County Detention Center under no bond. Jeffers is being held in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $5,000 secured bond.
