Goldsboro mother charged with concealing daughter’s death, police say

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) – Goldsboro police arrested a woman Monday a day after her daughter was found dead during a welfare check, according to a news release. 

Lisa Michelle Boyle is charged with concealment/failure to report death. She was taken into custody Monday and was given a $1,000 secured bond, the release said.

An autopsy will determine the woman’s cause of death, the release said. Boyle will make her first court appearance on Tuesday.

The investigation is ongoing, police said in the release.
