Man found shot to death inside crashed vehicle in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Durham police are investigating after a man was found shot to death inside a crash vehicle Monday night.UPDATE: Man arrested in connection with late November Durham murder

Durham police responded to a call regarding the sound of gunshots just after 10:15 p.m. in the 3200 block of Rowena Avenue, police said. Upon arrival, officers found a man dead inside a crashed vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.

Police later identified the victim as Jamond Lee Alston, 22, of Durham.

The shooting and crash are under investigation and no arrests have been made.
