Man’s body found near dumpsters in Goldsboro

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) – Goldsboro police are investigating after officers found a man’s body near dumpsters on April 1. 

Officers were called to a lot adjacent to 1101 N. Berkeley Blvd. for after a body was reported to be seen in a dumpster. 

Once on scene, officers located the body of a man. On Tuesday, the North Carolina Medical Examiner’s Office identified the body as Edward Earl Webb Jr.,  38.

Investigators on scene could not determine how the man died and the cause of death is still pending completion of the autopsy, officials said.
