FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (WCMH/WNCN) – A river of molten chocolate blocked an Arizona freeway Monday afternoon after a crash.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened on Interstate 40 east of Flagstaff.
A tanker carrying 40,000 gallons of liquid chocolate overturned. The tanker was heated, which kept the chocolate at a temperature of 120 degrees.
The chocolate was spilled all over the highway, which blocked traffic.
A worker was spotted in a scene photo releasing a large pipe of flowing chocolate into a roadside gully.
The Department of Public Safety said it will be a ‘sweet cleanup.’
There was no word about injuries in the wreck.
