GASTON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) – A Gaston County woman is accused of killing her husband Monday night in a triple homicide.
Crystal Leah Gambino, 42, is charged with first-degree-murder in the shooting death of her husband, 40-year-old Giovanni James Gambino.
Gaston County Police were called to do a welfare check at a home on Alexis-Lucia Road in Alexis around 8 p.m. The concerned family member who initiated the welfare check met police at the home.
Giovanni Gambino and two other adults were found dead at the home. Police say they had been shot to death.
Police are trying to identify the two other victims, but believe they were visiting the home.
Crystal Gambino was arrested a short time later in Stanley and charged. She is currently being held in the Gaston County Jail without bond.
