KINSTON, N.C. (WNCN) - Kinston Police responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Fairfield Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
Capt. Rodney Russell of the Kinston police said it happened around 1:45 p.m.
According to reports, an 18-year-old male and a 16-year-old boy were shot walking near the intersection of Waverly Avenue and Fairfield Avenue.
One victim is in critical condition, while the other person's injuries are non-life threatening.
At this time the names of the victims haven’t been released.
Kinston police are still looking for the suspect in this case.
