CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WJZY) — A smelly floral addition appropriately nicknamed ‘Stinker Bell’ is getting ready to bloom at UNC Charlotte.
It’s a corpse flower that comes out to about three feet and two inches. It’s expected to bloom any day now and each plant takes about seven years to bloom.
The college will open its botanical gardens greenhouse to show off the plant once it blooms.
