RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Raleigh police blocked an entrance to Capital Boulevard at different times on Sunday as they investigated a shots-fired case.

At least three police cars were spotted around 10:45 a.m. where Wake Forest Road transitions into Atlantic Avenue at Old Louisburg Road.

The Wake Forest Road ramp to Capital Boulevard was also closed at that time and was still closed as of 2:40 p.m.

Earlier, two officers were seen walking up the ramp looking along the shoulder.

Police said that authorities are looking for evidence and shell casings from a shots-fired case.

No one was hurt when the shots were fired, police said.
