KING, N.C. (WFMY) — Police in King confirm they’ve found suspicious circumstances leading them to believe 86-year-old Arzell Tuttle was “likely assaulted and kidnapped or possibly murdered.”

Sunday, King police chief Paula May confirmed they found evidence of a violent crime at Tuttle’s house and inside his car, which was found in Winston-Salem.

Tuttle is from King but his car was found abandoned and burned Friday on Kentucky Avenue in Winston-Salem, near the intersection of Terrace Avenue. The car was a silver 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser.

Two people of interest have come to the attention of King Police and were seen, between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Friday, near where Tuttle’s car was found.

The suspects could be in a silver-colored, early 2000s model, 2-door Pontiac Grand Am.

Anyone with information that could help police in this investigation should call Winston-Salem Crime Stoppers at: 336-727-2800 or King Police at: 336-983-0886.
