GASTON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) – Gaston County Police are releasing more information about a triple homicide that happened Monday in the small town of Alexis.
Capt. Curtis Rosselle told WBTV all three victims were found naked.
“We believe they were all three shot inside the house, in a bedroom, and then one of the victims, the female victim, was moved outside,” Rosselle said.RELATED: NC woman charged with killing husband in triple homicide
Crystal Leah Gambino, 42, is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of her husband, 40-year-old Giovanni James Gambino. The other two victims were identified as 39-year-old Geoffrey Glenn Gilliland and 33-year-old Stephanie Lynn Sanchez.

“What we are trying to resolve now or find out is how these three people came together, how they knew each other, and that is being done through phone records and computers,” Rosselle said. “This is something we are going to take our time with. I would say weeks.”
Capt. Rosselle said that Giovanni Gambino had several connections in the Gaston County community. He said that Giovanni Gambino worked with volunteer organizations and political campaigns.
Capt. Rosselle said that the Gambinos did not have a lengthy call record to their house on Alexis-Lucia Road.
Crystal Gambino made her first appearance in court Tuesday afternoon. Her next scheduled court appearance is March 21, but the District Attorney’s Office believes the grand jury will indict her.
If she is indicted before March 21, she will not appear in court that day.Copyright 2016 WBTV. All rights reserved.
