GREENSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) – A Raleigh man wanted on charges of human trafficking and forced prostitution of a child was arrested Friday morning in Greensboro, officials said.

Kenneth Ward, 37, was arrested the U.S. Marshal Joint Task Force at a residence located at 1730 Luray Drive in Greensboro. He had warrants for his arrest issued by the Raleigh Police Department on charges of human trafficking child victim and promoting prostitution of a minor.

According to authorities, Ward is alleged to have feloniously held the juvenile victim in sexual servitude and did feloniously entice, enforce, encourage, or otherwise facilitate a minor to participate in prostitution on Dec. 5, 2015.

Ward refused to answer the door at the residence when U.S. Marshals arrived and he was found at the Greensboro residence hiding under the bed. He was then transported to Raleigh Police to be interviewed.

No information has been released regarding Ward’s custody or release.
