Raleigh police seek 2 ‘witnesses’ in homicide after man found dead in vehicle

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Raleigh police have identified a man they say was found dead in a vehicle along Wake Forest Road early Sunday.

Police also said Sunday night that the death of the man, Keonte Lamar Gause, 34, was a homicide.

In a news release, police said that they are trying to identify two “witnesses” in the incident. Three small images of men in a parking lot were released by Raleigh police.

Gause was discovered around 5:15 a.m. in a vehicle in the 3200 block of Wake Forest Road, which is at the Interstate-440 interchange, according to a news release from Raleigh police.
