ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) – A teenage boy held as a sex slave is now free.

The conditions he survived, according to authorities, were awful. Six men and a woman are facing charges.

The Florida Attorney General said what went on between a 15-year-old boy and the four men he lived with can only be described as horrific.

In the home facing Interstate 275 at the Silver Lake mobile home park, police said a 15-year-old Marion County boy endured some very adult activities.

“The men introduced this juvenile to sadomasochism and used him as a sex slave,” said Major Mark Hensley with the St. Petersburg Police Department.

Police arrested five men and a woman. They believe Eleanor McGlamory introduced the boy to Mark and Andrew Dennis, a married couple.

They say the men drove to Marion County and picked up the boy.

Inside the home, pure filth.

“The victim was living on a small mattress with no bedding, surrounded by animals, animal cages and animal feces,” Hensley said.

It’s a scene that plays out too many times across Florida.

The new state attorney general calls human trafficking an epidemic.

“The teenage victim in this case was lured away from his family with promises of a better life. Instead, he was moved into a filthy trailer and used as a sex slave for nearly a year,” said Attorney General Ashley Moody.

Police said Curtis Gruwell and McGlamory drove to Louisiana to pick up a 17-year-old after contacting him via the app Discord, often used by gamers.

“We’re pleading with parents and guardians today. Please go home. Look at what your kid are doing on-line” said Police Chief Anthony Holloway.

Six of the seven are in jail.

Curtis Gruwell remains at large. Police want to find him. They’re also worried there may be more victims.
