NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A 30-year-old woman told police she threw a barstool at a bartender in Nashville, Tennessee Monday morning as part of a dare by her bachelorette party, a police report states.

Officers responded around 12:45 a.m. to Tequila Cowboy for a report of a woman throwing a barstool inside and breaking a bottle of vodka.

When police got to the bar, they said security had detained the woman who was visibly intoxicated and admitted to taking three shots of whiskey.

The woman was being loud and irate toward people while being detained, investigators said.

Police said the bartender and the bar told officers they did not want to prosecute the woman.

She was taken into custody on a charge of public intoxication.

Her bond was set at $500.
