A Pasco County, Florida man was arrested for human trafficking after deputies say he gave a teenager methamphetamine and tried to have sex with her.
Keith Cannon Keller, 41, was arrested on Monday afternoon following an investigation that began nearly two months ago.
Back on March 27, Pasco deputies executed a search warrant at Keller’s home on Ryals Road in Zephyrhills. During the search, deputies found a glass pipe/water bong in his bedroom that tested positive for meth, along with several SD cards and thumb drives.
Detectives who reviewed the SD cards and thumb drives say they found video footage from March 25 of Keller in his bed with a 14-year-old girl. The sheriff’s office says the girl seen in the video was listed as a runaway and was a Ward of the State at the time of the incident.
According to an arrest report, the video shows Keller giving the glass pipe to the girl, who then smokes meth from it.
Deputies say Keller is then seen rubbing the victim and telling her to take her clothes off. The girl did not comply with his request, according to the arrest report.
Keller later admitted to giving the girl the water bong/pipe and meth to smoke. He told deputies he was giving her meth “in order to keep her off the streets.” Keller also admitted to being in bed with the victim, grabbing her and kissing her.
Deputies determined that Keller exploited the girl for sexual gratification, and arrested him for human trafficking as well as lewd and lascivious molestation. Jail records show he is also facing several drug charges.
