MACON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – An estimated $400,000 in methamphetamine was seized during a bust last month in Tennessee, investigators say.

The 15th Judicial Drug Task Force, which covers Jackson, Macon, Smith, Trousdale and Wilson counties, reported the seizure of more than nine pounds of meth on March 26 at a residence in the western part of Macon County, though an exact location was not disclosed.

The agency said the drugs were seized from an organization believed to be a major supplier of meth in Tennessee and Southern Kentucky.

No additional details were immediately released.
