Police: 2 men show firearms, take items from victims during armed robbery outside SC mall

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Officers are investigating an armed robbery in the parking lot of Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

According to Cpl. Tom Vest, with the Myrtle Beach Police Department, officers are investigating an armed robbery that took place just after 1 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of Belk at the Coastal Grand Mall. 

Two black male subjects approached two females who exited their car and were walking towards the mall, Cpl. Vest said. The men showed guns and took items from both victims.

“One victim was pushed to the ground during the robbery,” Cpl. Vest also said. The subjects fled the area in a silver Kia Soul.
