COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – An ex-security guard arrested for taking nude photos of a sleeping woman is now facing additional charges, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

Keith Lamar Hoefer, 38, is being charged with two counts of voyeurism and two counts of peeping tom for two separate incidents that took place in 2017.

On Feb. 21, Hoefer is accused of spying through the window of a home in the 4500-block of Bentley Drive to record a victim while she was in the nude. Hoefer committed the same offense at the same house on Feb. 23.

On April 1, he was arrested on charges of first-degree burglary, two counts of voyeurism and two counts of peeping tom.

According to deputies, Hoefer arrest today marks the second time he has faced similar charges.

Hoefer previously worked for Uber and Lyft as a driver, while also serving as a security guard at several locations including apartment complexes.

This is still an ongoing investigation as investigators continue to work to identify additional victims.

Investigators urge anyone who suspects they may be a victim to call Inv. Alvarez at 803-576-3000.
