SC mom arrested after 2-year-old son tests positive for meth

A mother accused of exposing her child to meth was arrested in York County, according to a police report obtained by WBTV.

The alleged incident happened on Aug. 7 but was reported nearly a month later, on Oct. 9. A 2-year-old tested positive for methamphetamine in a hair drug screen.

The boy’s mother, 29-year-old Melissa Glenn, was arrested On Oct. 10 and charged with unlawful neglect of a child. She was given a $5,000 bond.

Glenn put her child at “unreasonable risk for harming affecting the child’s life or physical safety by exposing the child to methamphetamine,” the police report states.
