GRESHAM, Ore. (KOIN) – An SUV crashed in Gresham Thursday afternoon, ending up perched on a guide wire.

Gresham Police said that a 16-year-old was behind the wheel, headed eastbound on SE 5th when he tried to turn north onto SE Vista.

But he was driving too fast, causing him to miss the curve and drive up the wire.

He was cited for careless driving and released to his parents.

A witness told KOIN-TV News there was another teenager in the SUV.

No one was hurt.
