United States Air Force Band posts moving tribute for Memorial Day

CULPEPER, V.A. (WNCN) – Ahead of Memorial Day, the United States Air Force band posted a tribute to honor fallen service members.

Technical Sgt. Jason Covey plays Taps on the burgle while standing in the Culpeper National Cemetery.

The cemetery was established in 1867 when the Civil War created a need to bury fallen soldiers in the area, according to the website.

The Air Force Band said the video is meant to emphasize how many military members have lost their lives over the years.
